Full description
Elements puts the periodic table of all 118 chemical elements on your phone. Tap any element to see its properties and a photo of what it looks like. Everything is stored in the app, so it works without a connection. What's inside • The whole periodic table, colour-coded by group: alkali metals, transition metals, metalloids, halogens, noble gases and more • Pinch or use the buttons to zoom, or turn your phone sideways for a bigger table • A page for every element with up to 35 properties: atomic weight, electron configuration, density, melting and boiling points, ionization energies, crystal structure, hardness and more • Photos of 93 elements, from glowing noble gases to gold crystals; tap a photo to see it full screen • Swipe sideways to go from one element to the next • Search by name, symbol or atomic number • A link to each element's Wikipedia article for more • Elements 113 to 118 under their official names: nihonium, flerovium, moscovium, livermorium, tennessine and oganesson Sources The element properties are adapted from Wikipedia's element articles as they stood in 2011 and are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence, CC BY-SA 3.0. Some values have been refined since. The photos come from Wikimedia Commons; each shows its author and licence in the app, and all photo credits are listed here: https://susasoftx.github.io/elements-credits.html Elements is an independent app by SusaSoftX and is not affiliated with Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation.
