PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED PLAINLY Walkton needs three Android permissions to lock an app you have chosen: Accessibility Service — to detect when a locked app is opened, so the lock screen can appear even when Walkton is closed. Walkton reads only which app is currently in the foreground. It does not read, store or transmit your screen content, the text you type, your passwords or your messages. Display over other apps — to draw the Walkton lock screen over an app you have locked. Usage access — to see which app is currently in use. You choose which apps are locked, and you can turn any lock off at any time. Your step counts and app selections stay on your device. Walkton does not sell or share your data.
