MathIt: Math Notebook

MathIt is a squared notebook for tablets, for students in grades 3-8 with dysgraphia, motor difficulties or messy handwriting, who lose marks for how they write and not for what they know. The student does not draw the symbols. Fractions, powers, roots and column arithmetic are chosen from a maths panel and land on the page already formed - one character per square, nothing sliding out of the column. A step can be corrected without rewriting the whole page. The app is made for tablets only, with a screen of about 7 inches or larger. It is not available on phones. What is inside: - a math's panel: digits, operations, fractions, roots, powers and the four column methods, - an archive of pages stored on the tablet, with search and favorites, - export to PNG or PDF, so work can be handed in - the teacher does not need MathIt, - step-by-step tutorials that remember where the student stopped, - five interface languages and three appearance themes, - no account, no ads, no tracking; works offline. For students with dysgraphia, with handwriting difficulties, motor difficulties or a slow writing pace - and anywhere handwriting is hard to read. It is not a shortcut. It removes an obstacle that was never the point of the exercise. Access and payments: MathIt is completely free until 30 November 2026. From 1 December 2026 saving and editing pages requires a subscription; reading and exporting pages already created stay free. The subscription is bought and cancelled in Google Play, with no MathIt account.
