N-Back: Visual Memory

Choose what to remember. Watch each turn. Tap when it matches a turn from earlier. N-Back is a visual memory exercise with a simple, focused setup. Remember positions, colours, numbers or any combination of the three. Compare each selected type independently with one, two or three turns earlier. MAKE EACH SESSION YOUR OWN • Choose Position, Colour, Number or any of their seven combinations. • Select 1-back, 2-back or 3-back. • Set a pace from 1 to 30 seconds per turn. • Start with guided practice and explanations before a normal session. UNDERSTAND YOUR RESULTS • Complete 20 scored turns after the warm-up. • Review accuracy separately for each selected type. • See hits, misses, false alarms and correct waits. • Follow running accuracy across the session. • Revisit completed sessions in local history, filtered by mode and difficulty. YOUR PRACTICE, ON YOUR DEVICE Core exercises and saved history work offline. No account is required. Your session settings and completed results stay on your device. Practice and unfinished sessions are not saved to history. Accuracy includes correct waits on non-matching turns, so review hits and misses alongside the percentage. Different modes and difficulty levels are not directly comparable. This is a visual exercise: it requires seeing the selected positions, colours or numbers. Audio and nonvisual modes are not included. N-Back does not make medical or general intelligence improvement claims. Advertising availability depends on the build. In versions with advertising enabled, occasional ads may appear after a completed normal session when returning Home. Ads do not interrupt active exercises or guided practice.
