DoubleCheck

Ever left the house and immediately spiraled into anxiety wondering: "Did I turn off the stove? Did I lock the front door? Did I turn off the AC?" Welcome to DoubleCheck—a minimalist, dark-mode-first utility app designed specifically to break the mental autopilot loop and give you absolute peace of mind before you leave. Why DoubleCheck is different: Most checklist apps rely on simple, effortless checkboxes that your brain instantly forgets clicking. DoubleCheck uses a intentional, high-utility gesture system to anchor your memory. • Hold-to-Confirm Interaction: To check an item off your list, you must press and hold it for 1.5 seconds. A visual indicator smoothly tracks your progress. • Tactile Haptic Feedback: The moment the hold is complete, a satisfying phone vibration triggers, physically signaling to your brain that the task is done. • Local Green Timestamps: Completed items instantly log a persistent, precise confirmation stamp (e.g., [Stove: OFF at 8:14 AM]). • Absolute Privacy: 100% offline and local device storage. No external servers, no databases, no cloud data tracking, and no clunky user logins required. • Premium OLED Aesthetics: A gorgeous, ultra-minimal pure black interface designed with large touch targets for effortless use while you are rushing out the door. • Peace of Mind History: A clean, calming dashboard that logs your successful completion streaks so you can double-check your day at a glance. Stop turning around halfway through your commute. Physically confirm your routines, anchor your memory with tactile feedback, and leave your home with total confidence.
