Maru-Chari brings a quiet corner of the Thar desert to your phone: a Rajasthani camel, a khejri tree and a golden hilltop fort on the horizon, alive on your home screen and set to your own clock. THE CAMEL'S DAY The wallpaper follows the real time where you are. • Dawn and morning: it browses the khejri's leaves and grazes the desert grass. • Midday heat: it lies down in the tree's shade, chewing its cud. • Dusk: it heads out for an evening stroll, then walks home before bed. • Night: it sleeps with its neck stretched along the sand, under the moon and stars. It lies down front legs first and gets up back legs first, the way real camels do. It breathes, blinks, flicks its ears and swishes its tail, so it never looks frozen.
