ChatterMore

ChatterMore is an independent Android client for people who already use a Mattermost server. It keeps messaging fast and focused without trying to reproduce every feature of the official client. Connect to your existing HTTPS Mattermost server with your username and password, then access your joined channels and direct-message conversations from one lightweight app. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Browse joined channels and recent direct messages. - See unread conversations, mentions, and user presence. - Receive new messages in real time while the app is open. - Send and edit messages with fast, optimistic updates. - Upload photos, videos, audio, and documents. - Share text and files to ChatterMore from other Android apps. - View authenticated image previews and video attachments. - Open YouTube and link previews and play supported Suno links. - Download attachments after confirmation. - Enable optional background checks for message notifications. PRIVACY AND SECURITY - Connects directly to the Mattermost server you choose. - Requires HTTPS and blocks cleartext network traffic. - Encrypts saved credentials using Android Keystore. - Contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. - Disables Android cloud backup for app data. REQUIREMENTS AND SCOPE ChatterMore requires Android 10 or newer and an existing account on a Mattermost server that accepts username and password login. It does not create or host Mattermost accounts. ChatterMore is deliberately focused. Threads, reactions, calls, full Markdown rendering, background sockets, and push notifications are not currently included. Optional background checks are periodic and may be delayed by Android.
