De Paucartambo a Boca Manu, hay una distancia de 160 kilómetros, esa región es recorrida por la carretera conocida como la carretera del Manu “Manu Road”, que va desde los 3560 metros sobre el nivel del mar (Abra Acjanaco) hasta los 280 metros (Boca Manu), recorriendo 19 tipos de vegetación desde el Pajonal Andino hasta la Selva Amazónica pasando por el Bosque de Montaña. Lo anterior hace a esta región una de las más biodiversas del mundo, y según muchos observadores de aves, es el recorrido sobre una misma carretera, donde más aves se pueden observar en el mundo, 1130 especies. Esta App es una herramienta para todos los observadorees de aves qe qieran observar la mayor cantidad de aves en el Manu Road.
