There are no ads, and you can compare the results before replacing originals. SELECT PHOTOS TOGETHER Press and hold, then drag to select photos. Select or clear an entire month from its heading. Browse a four-column grid or show only screenshots. CHOOSE FROM NINE SIZE SETTINGS Choose a size setting from 9/10 to 1/10. The standard setting is 7/10. Check the estimated size before starting. Ratios and estimated savings are approximate; actual results depend on each photo. Start without waiting for trial compression, then compare the actual result. Follow processing progress; it continues when you close the app and notifies you when comparison is ready. COMPARE BEFORE REPLACING Move the slider to compare the original and compressed photo, and pinch to zoom. Choose which photos to replace individually. JPEG, HEIC, PNG and screenshots are supported. Capture dates and location metadata present in the originals are carried over. Allow access to photo-location metadata to preserve capture locations. Compression and resizing may change quality, brightness, colours or dimensions. Compare before replacing, and back up important photos before use. RESTORE WHILE ORIGINALS REMAIN IN TRASH After replacement, originals remain in your device’s standard Trash. Storage is not freed immediately; it is freed after the originals are permanently deleted. Restore originals from TinySize while they remain in Trash and before their expiry, typically about 30 days. Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Check the expiry and photos in the app and your device’s Trash. MOVE UNWANTED PHOTOS TO TRASH You can move selected photos to the device trash without compression, after Android asks for confirmation. FREE BATCHES, OPTIONAL ONE-TIME PURCHASE The free version supports up to 5 photos per batch, with no limit on the number of batches. A one-time purchase removes the 5-photo selection limit. It is not a monthly subscription. Check the price shown by Google Play before purchasing. GOOGLE PHOTOS BACKUPS TinySize processes photos stored on your device. Original photos already backed up to Google Photos remain in the cloud after they are replaced on your device. The smaller photos may be backed up as separate photos.
