Mallard: Habit & Mood Tracker

Mallard is a minimalist habit and mood tracker built to be quick: you note what you did, see your week at a glance, and close the app. Less than ten seconds a day. No streak to keep, no score to beat: a missed day is just a missed day, nothing more. Mallard is inspired by the self-monitoring diaries used in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): noticing what you do, without judging yourself, is often the first step to change. You choose what to track — and why. Exercise, reading, sleep, alcohol, meditation, water, screen time… A habit can be positive, negative or neutral: the app doesn’t judge, it just records. And because what you do often goes with how you feel, Mallard also tracks your mood, in the same place, with a single tap. SIX WAYS TO RECORD A HABIT • Yes / No — did I meditate today? • Number — glasses of water, pages read, reps • Duration or time — 45 minutes of exercise, or the time you went to bed • Duration +/− 15 min — sleep, in quarter hours • Counter +/− — one tap per cigarette • Mood — five ducks, one tap WHAT YOU’LL FIND • A clear “Today” view, filled in a few seconds • Your week and your history at a glance • A quiet daily reminder • A duck when your day is complete • An encrypted backup to switch phones without losing anything • CSV export of your data, whenever you want YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account to create, no ads, no trackers. You install it, you start. Your data only leaves your phone if you export it yourself. Mallard is free for up to 3 habits. The full version — unlimited habits — is a single one-time purchase: no subscription, nothing that renews. [email protected]
