TinyTallies

Tiny Tallies is a personalized math learning app that grows with your child from 1st grade through high school. Powered by AI, it adapts to each student's level in real time — building confidence, catching misconceptions early, and making math practice something kids actually want to do. ADAPTIVE LEARNING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS Every child learns differently. Tiny Tallies uses an Elo rating system and Bayesian Knowledge Tracing to find the right challenge level — targeting an 85% success rate so kids stay motivated without getting bored. A spaced repetition system brings back concepts at the perfect time to lock them into long-term memory. 18 MATH DOMAINS, 150+ SKILLS Full Common Core-aligned curriculum spanning: • Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division • Fractions, Decimals, Place Value, Patterns • Time, Money, Measurement, Ratios • Exponents, Expressions, Integers, Geometry • Probability, Number Theory • Graphs & Data Analysis (picture graphs to scatter plots) From counting coins to solving equations — all generated programmatically with curriculum-accurate problem sets, not recycled question banks. AI TUTOR THAT TEACHES, NOT TELLS When your child gets stuck, a built-in AI tutor guides them with Socratic hints — asking the right questions instead of giving away the answer. It follows a Concrete → Pictorial → Abstract teaching progression and automatically escalates support based on how much a child is struggling. The tutor even detects recurring misconceptions and creates targeted mini-sessions to address them. INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL MANIPULATIVES Six hands-on math tools built right into practice sessions: • Base-ten blocks • Number lines • Ten frames • Counters • Fraction strips • Bar models Drag, drop, and explore — the same tools real classrooms use, available anytime. SMART PLACEMENT & ONBOARDING A quick placement test finds your child's starting level automatically — no guessing which grade to pick. The app continuously adjusts from there. GAMIFICATION KIDS LOVE • XP, levels, and weekly streaks • 31 achievement badges to earn • Daily challenges with bonus rewards • Customizable avatars and frames • 5 unlockable color themes Everything is earned through learning — no paywalls on rewards. BUILT FOR FAMILIES • Support for multiple children on one device • PIN-protected parental controls • Parent reports with mastery charts, session history, and AI-generated summaries • Daily session and bedtime controls • COPPA compliant — no ads, no chat, no personal data collection from children WORKS OFFLINE Practice sessions work without an internet connection. Progress syncs automatically when you're back online. FREE TO USE Tiny Tallies is free with 3 daily sessions, 5 AI hints per day, and the full K-8 curriculum.
