Full description

The Koren Tefilla App includes our siddur in three nusaḥim: Sefaradim (Edot Mizraḥ), Sefarad and Ashkenaz. The siddur was designed in accordance with the design elements which were created by Eliyahu Koren and which have been passed down at Koren Publishers over the last 60 years. We have done our best to maintain these guidelines while making the necessary changes considering the platform. The siddur is of course a smart siddur and therefore displays the appropriate tefillot based on the annual cycle. In addition, one may apply different tefilla modes such as davening with a minyan, ḥazzan mode, simḥa and aveilut as well as geographic location. Beyond this we have also added various content geared towards aiding one in preparation for Tefilla, learning about and reflecting on Tefilla as well as creating a davening experience which is not possible using a printed book. Among these tools you will find audio preparations for Tefilla from different creators, commentary by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks and a feature allowing one to display the Tefilla word by word or sentence by sentence which enhances one’s focus. There are other settings and features not mentioned here and we encourage you to go ahead and explore these. Zmanim powered by KosherCocoa by Moshe Berman. We are looking forward to hearing any and all feedback from you. Please reach out to us at: [email protected]

What's new

• Edit your shortcuts: long-press a shortcut to enter edit mode, then drag to reorder or tap × to remove. • Shortcuts now cycle through a set of colors. • Contents: choosing a section while reading Tehillim now takes you straight to it in the siddur. • Improved contents layout in English, plus other fixes and improvements.
