Photo Frame Slideshow

Photo Frame Slideshow plays photos and videos as a full-screen slideshow on an Android phone or tablet. Frames Make a frame from photos and videos on this device. Each frame has its own photos and settings. Rename a frame, choose its cover photo, add photos or remove them. Albums on this device Choose one or more albums on the device, and the frame plays the photos in them. With access to all photos, photos saved to those albums later join the frame. Turn on Include videos to play album videos. Album photos are read on the device and are not sent anywhere. Album photo cache By default, the album photo cache uses up to 1 GB or 10% of free space, whichever is smaller. Change the limit in Settings. Full-screen slideshow The slideshow plays full screen with the controls hidden. Tap to show previous, pause, next, settings and exit. Swipe left or right to change photo. Display modes Smart chooses Fill or Fit for each photo. Fill covers the screen. Fit shows the whole photo on a blurred copy of itself. Original shows the whole photo on black. Portrait photos On a landscape screen, two portrait photos taken close together in time are shown side by side. Transitions and timing Crossfade, fade, slide, zoom, Ken Burns or none. Each photo stays on screen for 5 seconds to 5 minutes, or a time you set. Order Smart shuffle, shuffle, oldest first or newest first. Smart shuffle keeps recently shown photos from coming back too soon. Clock and date Show the time in a small or large size, today's date, and the date each photo was taken. The clock can also fill the screen for 30 seconds every 10 minutes. Text on screen changes position slightly over time. Night schedule The screen turns black during the hours you set, and the frame starts again in the morning. Brightness can follow the system or be set for the frame. Auto dim lowers it over the 30 minutes before the night schedule starts. Videos Videos play muted by default, up to a length you set, and then the slideshow continues. Start when charging Set the frame as the Android screen saver and it starts when the screen would turn off while charging. The app can also start the last frame when it opens. Offline playback Photos are saved on the device at a size that suits the screen, so frames play without an internet connection. Settings shows the space each frame uses, and photo quality has three settings. Privacy The system photo picker gives the app only the items you select. Photos stay on the device and are not sent to us, and they are excluded from cloud backup. No account and no ads. Usage statistics and crash reports are sent only if you allow them.
