Our Kitchen Book

A private recipe book for the people you cook with. Create a group for your family, your flat or your friends, invite them with a link, and every recipe you add is there for all of them. Nothing is public. ADD A RECIPE IN SECONDS Photograph a page of a cookbook, paste a link from most recipe sites (a few do not allow automatic reading), or paste a recipe in any language or dictate it in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish. With your permission the AI reads it, splits it into ingredients and steps, translates it into English, classifies it and links the ingredients to a catalogue. You check the draft and publish it. You can also type a recipe in yourself. COOK FROM IT Scale any recipe to the servings you need. Switch between metric and US units. Show weights for things you count, like eggs or onions. Tick off ingredients as you go. Copy, share or print the shopping list, grouped by aisle. Cook mode shows one step per screen in large type and keeps the screen on; tap a time in a step to start a timer. Print your group's recipes as a cookbook or save them as a PDF. FIND THE RIGHT DISH Search every recipe of your group by title, description, ingredients and tags. Filter by category, difficulty and diet, or sort by most loved and top rated. Look at the recipe of the day, what is trending in your group and what you viewed recently. Tell the fridge search what you have and see what you can cook with it. Once a week the Kitchen Bot can suggest a new recipe for your group, clearly marked as an AI suggestion. PLAN THE WEEK Plan breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for every day of the week, with a recipe or a note such as "Leftovers". Put the week's recipes on one shopping list: amounts from several recipes are added up and sorted by aisle, and you tick them off in the shop. Sort recipes into collections, just for you or shared with your group. A seasonal calendar shows which vegetables and fruit are in season in Germany, and a filter finds the recipes that fit. COOK TOGETHER Save favorites. Rate a recipe and leave a comment. Log that you cooked it, with a photo and a note. The activity feed shows what the others added, rated and cooked. See the members of your group and their recipes. SEVERAL GROUPS Join up to 50 groups and switch between them. A group has up to 50 members. Every group has its own invite link; admins of groups created in the app can reset it at any time. Admins can rename the group and manage members. NUTRITION ESTIMATES Enriched recipes show energy, protein, carbohydrates and fat per serving, computed from a curated ingredient catalogue, with the ingredients that could not be counted listed underneath. These are estimates, not advice. PRIVATE AND CALM No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Only members of a group see its recipes. Offensive words are filtered before anything is posted. Report or block anyone who posts something that does not belong there. You can delete your account in the app at any time. The app is in English and German: switch under Me · Language.
