Lynxbe is an all-in-one business communication and operations platform. ONGOING CALLS CONTINUE IN THE BACKGROUND Lynxbe is your company's phone system. When you place or answer a VoIP call, the call has to keep running after you leave the call screen - to look up a customer record, write notes in the CRM, check a shift, or simply lock the phone. Android only permits this through a foreground service, so Lynxbe starts one for the length of the call and shows a permanent call notification you can tap to return to the call or to hang up. This is why the app requests these permissions: - FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL keeps the call connected while the app is in the background or the screen is off. Without it, Android ends the call the moment you switch to another app. - FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE keeps the microphone open for that same call, so the person on the other end can still hear you while you work elsewhere in the app. The service starts when a call starts and stops the moment the call ends. It is not used for anything else, and it never runs when you are not on a call.
