Lumi Steps: Sensory & Sounds

Lumi Steps is a calm, all-in-one app for your baby's first 18 months. High-contrast sensory patterns, soothing sounds, and gentle age-tuned activities, all in one place. One purchase, no ads, no subscription. What's inside: • High-contrast visual patterns. Newborn vision is around 20/200, so babies need the strongest contrast you can give them. Tap Visuals for a guided sensory session of black and white shapes and primary colours, age-tuned to what your baby's eyes can actually see today. • Curated calming sounds. White noise, pink noise, gentle lullabies, and a soft heartbeat track. Generated on your device, with no streaming and no buffering. Works on a plane. • Daily activities, age-tuned. Each age range (0-3, 3-6, 6-12, and 12-18 months) gets its own set of evidence-based activities, drawn from AAP and CDC guidelines. Tummy time, face tracking, sound and response, mirror play, object permanence, and more, each with step-by-step instructions and the science behind it. • A simple milestone checklist. Tick off motor, language, cognitive, and social milestones as your baby reaches them. Stored on your device, never uploaded. • Calm tab. For when you need a moment too. A 4-2-4 breathing guide, gentle rocking and skin-to-skin cues, and paced-breathing techniques to help you and your baby settle together. Why parents love it: • No subscription, no ads, ever. One-time purchase. No free trial that turns into recurring fees, and no upsells. • All your Android devices. One purchase covers every Android phone, tablet, and Chromebook signed into your Google account. • Works offline. Sounds, patterns, and activities are built into the app, so they work without a connection. Handy on a plane, in the park, or anywhere with low signal. • Privacy first. No advertising, no third-party trackers, no ad SDKs. Your baby's data stays on your device. • Evidence based. Activities link to their source: AAP guidelines, CDC milestones, and infant development research. Made for parents, to make those first 18 months feel a little calmer and a little more supported.
