Slow Change

A pack of coffee that went from 500 to 450 grams while the price stayed the same. Milk that got ten percent dearer in six months. You do not see it, because nobody remembers what a pack cost or weighed last year. Slow Change remembers it for you. HOW IT WORKS • Photograph your receipt. The app reads it on your phone, without a server. • Check what it read: every line can be corrected, every non-product line removed. • From the second receipt on, you see each product's price per kilo, per litre or per piece, and the arrow since your first purchase. WHAT YOU SEE • Your basket: every product you buy, with its unit price and how much it changed since the first time. • Your own index: how much your groceries got dearer per kilo or litre, on average. Not the national figure, your basket. • Shrinkflation: a pack that got smaller while the price stayed put. Slow Change sees the difference between 500 and 450 grams, even when you did not. • Per product the whole series: date, shop, size, price, unit price. WHAT IT IS NOT Not a price comparison. Slow Change never sends you to another shop and earns nothing from where you buy. It keeps only your own history. That is what keeps it honest. PRIVACY Everything stays on your phone. No account, no server, no sync, no analytics. The photo of your receipt is not kept; only the lines read from it. Delete the app and your history is gone. SLOW CHANGE PRO Your first three receipts are free, in full. After that: • € 5.99 per month • € 39.99 per year, with three days free The subscription renews automatically until you cancel, in your App Store settings. Your history stays readable, with or without a subscription.
