Full description
Rosie may need out. It's been 2 hours — about how long Rosie usually goes between pees. That sentence is the whole app. Everything else exists to make it true. A DOG CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING You're responsible for a body that files no report. Did she eat? Did anyone let her out? When was the flea pill — the 3rd, or was that last month? Then you're in the exam room and the vet asks how long it's been going on, and you say "a while," because a while is all you have. So you keep it in your head, or on the fridge, or in a group text neither of you reads. That works right up until the day it matters. ONE TAP, AND THEN IT STARTS PAYING YOU BACK Seventeen things to log: pee, poop, food, water, treats, walks, sleep, training, teeth, grooming, nail trims, medicine, vaccines, supplements, weight, temperature, blood glucose. Nine of them are one tap on a tile — no form, no time to set, no thinking. Walks, sleep and training have a stopwatch, because nobody knows how long a walk was while holding a leash. A walk your watch already tracked can be imported from Health Connect instead of typed in. From the gaps between those taps, Lucky Dog Log works out your dog's own rhythm — this dog, not dogs in general — and speaks up before you'd have thought to check. It always says why: because she usually goes about three hours, because you set every two hours, because you set 8:00 AM, because her flea & tick is monthly and the last one was the 3rd. A reminder that explains itself is one you leave switched on. And it won't guess. If a pattern is too scattered to be worth a notification, the app tells you that instead of sending one anyway. POINT YOUR CAMERA AT THE VET BILL Photograph the invoice, the discharge summary, the vaccination record or the prescription label — or pick the PDF the clinic emailed. It reads the paper into entries you choose from: the weigh-in, the shots given, the medicine you're taking home with its dose and its next due date already filled in. The microchip number off the certificate goes into her profile. Nothing is saved until you tick it, and the document itself isn't kept on a server. Reading needs a free account, and every account gets twenty reads a month. ON YOUR WRIST AND YOUR HOME SCREEN The Wear OS app logs a pee, starts a walk, gives a dose or dials in a weight from the yard, no phone in hand. Reminders reach the watch with the same buttons, and its tile and watch face complication say what's due. A home-screen widget shows what's next and logs a pee, a poop, a meal or a drink in one tap. TWO PEOPLE, ONE DOG, ONE LOG Invite whoever else feeds her. Everyone sees the same log, everyone can add to it, everyone's phone reminds them, and a pee logged on one phone resets the clock on the other. No more "did you already?" THE DOG, ON FILE Microchip and registry, licence, rabies tag, insurance policy, vet and emergency vet with tappable numbers, groomer, sitter, allergies, food brand, breed, birthday. Everything you get asked for and can never find, in one place you can copy from. FOR A NEW PUPPY Every month from two to twelve, the app tells you how long a walk can be at that age, and says so on the clock while you're out. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO Paid once. No subscription, no in-app purchases. No account required. No signal required. No server required: the log lives on your phone and the reminders are worked out there. Sign in only if you want a second device, the receipt reader, or to share a dog — and signed out, nothing leaves the phone at all. No ads. No tracking, by us or by anyone. No analytics SDK — the only thing we count is how many reads you've used. And it doesn't diagnose. It records what you observed. No screen calls a number high or abnormal — typical ranges are shown as a cue and nothing more. Talk to your vet. Years from now, you'll be able to tell them exactly when the limping started.
