Full description
Turn your Android phone, tablet, or Chromebook into a mobile, professional logic analyzer! Connect a USB logic analyzer (such as Saleae, FX2, DSLogic, Kingst) via a USB OTG adapter, or connect a Raspberry Pi Pico / UART serial device to capture, measure, and decode digital signals in real time. No hardware yet? No problem! The built-in Demo signal generator lets you test all app features and protocol decoders right out of the box. ⚡ KEY CAPABILITIES • Multi-channel real-time acquisition: up to 24 MHz (Saleae / FX2) and up to 100 MHz (DSLogic, Kingst, UART) • Deep sample buffer: from 10k up to 50 million samples (50M) with a live acquisition duration calculator • Supports 8, 16, 21, 24, or 32 digital channels • Smooth live streaming waveform preview during capture • Safe and simple: No root permissions required – uses standard Android USB Host API 🔍 BUILT-IN PROTOCOL DECODERS Automatic protocol decoding directly over waveforms (hexagonal chevron bubbles) or in the dedicated decoders table: • 📡 UART / RS-232 / RS-485: arbitrary baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits, signal inversion • 🟡 I2C: 7-bit and 8-bit addressing, ACK/NACK detection, Read/Write transaction display • 🟢 SPI: modes 0, 1, 2, 3 (CPOL/CPHA), MSB/LSB first, MOSI, MISO, and CS lines • 🟣 CAN Bus: standard 11-bit identifiers, DLC fields, data payload, configurable sample point • 🌸 LIN Bus: automatic detection of Sync Break, protected IDs, and checksum validation • 🔵 1-Wire: Dallas single-wire bus (e.g. DS18B20 temperature sensors), Reset and Presence pulses • 🔴 I2S Audio: digital PCM audio streams, Left/Right channel separation, 16-bit and 24-bit words • 🌈 WS281x (Neopixel): addressable RGB/GRB LED timings with HEX color preview • ⚙️ Over 130 decoders powered by the libsigrokdecode ecosystem ⏱️ PRECISION TIMING & MEASUREMENT • Smart multi-layer time ruler: automatic vertical stacking prevents overlapping annotation labels • Timing Markers: precise delta time (|Δt|) and frequency calculation (Hz/kHz/MHz) • Hover measurement: instant pulse width and period indicators when hovering over waveforms • Advanced Triggering: rising edge, falling edge, either edge, and high/low level conditions • Full customization: drag-and-drop channel reordering, custom channel labels, and color palettes • Session management: save and load raw captures, and export data to CSV (Excel, MATLAB, Python) • Responsive controls: optimized for touch gestures (pinch-to-zoom) as well as mouse and keyboard navigation on tablets and Chromebooks 🔌 BROAD HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY • Saleae Logic: Logic 8, Logic 16, Logic 4, Logic Pro 8, Logic Pro 16 • Cypress FX2 / fx2lafw analyzers: popular 8ch 24MHz USB modules (CY7C68013A, Hantek 6022BL, and clones) • DreamSourceLab: DSLogic Basic, DSLogic Plus, DSLogic Pro • Kingst: LA2016, LA1016, LA5016, LA5032 • Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040): sigrok-pico firmware and UART logic analyzer (up to 21 channels) • USB-Serial / UART devices: FTDI, CH340, CP210x, CDC ACM, and SUMP/OLS protocol • Demo mode: full signal simulation without connecting any physical hardware 📱 REQUIREMENTS 1. Android 8.0 or later with USB OTG (USB Host) support. 2. A USB OTG adapter/cable (USB-C or micro-USB) matching your phone/tablet. 3. A compatible USB logic analyzer, Raspberry Pi Pico, or simply use Demo mode. An indispensable tool for electrical engineers, embedded firmware developers, IoT makers, and enthusiasts of Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi. Debug digital communication buses anywhere in the lab, workshop, or field!
