Locking In Now closes that loophole with real structure, not just another toggle you can flip when an urge hits. HOW IT ACTUALLY BLOCKS - System-wide filtering - Locking In Now runs a lightweight on-device VPN that filters blocked sites at the DNS level, across every browser and app on your phone. Switching to a different browser doesn't get you around it. - App blocking - An Accessibility Service detects the moment a blocked app opens and shows a block screen immediately. - Nothing leaves your device - All filtering happens locally. We don't see your browsing history and never send it anywhere. REAL FRICTION, NOT JUST A SETTING - Strict mode - Once on, you can add to your block list anytime but can't remove anything until protection is fully off. - Self-lock PIN - Set a PIN while you're clear-headed. You'll need it to turn protection off later. - Uninstall protection - Removing the app requires an extra confirmation step, not a single tap - and can notify your accountability partner that you turned it off.
