Every spring on the map comes from a community-sourced dataset that has been curated for accuracy. What you can do - Explore springs across dozens of countries on an interactive map - Filter by type (cold, hot, swimming) and by cost (free, paid) - Search by name, country, or region - Save springs to a personal wishlist and mark the ones you have visited - Submit new springs, with photos and GPS coordinates, to help other travellers - Get directions to any spring with a single tap Built for travellers and locals Whether you are road-tripping through Iceland, chasing a quiet soak in the Blue Mountains, or looking for a clean drinking spring near home, Local Springs puts thousands of locations in your pocket. Privacy first No ads. No behavioural trackers. Location data stays on your device unless you choose to submit a new spring. Your account, wishlist, and visited list are stored in Google Cloud (Sydney) and visible only to you. Free to use Local Springs is free. No subscriptions, no paid tiers. Optional tipping may be added later, but the core features will always be free. How to contribute Open the app, tap the plus icon, drop a pin, name the spring, pick a type, add a short description and a few photos, and submit.
