LMN8

"Deleted" usually means recoverable. "Encrypted" usually means someone else holds the key. LMN8 makes both words honest. Zero Zero is the deletion side of LMN8. It encrypts the file first, gets rid of the key, and then wipes the leftover data from the disk. After each job it reads the disk back to make sure the data has actually been cleared, and it keeps a record of that check. It works on single files, folders and full drives, across SSDs, hard drives, USB drives and memory cards. You can set how thorough each wipe should be. If you'd rather not do it by hand, you can schedule wipes or set rules based on file type, age, name or location. You can also wipe linked devices remotely. A device that's offline at the time will carry out the wipe when it reconnects. Encrypt Encrypt locks a folder right where it sits. A locked folder is called a Crypt. The files, their names and the folder layout are all encrypted. Nothing gets uploaded, and no unencrypted copy is left on the drive. Your keys Keys are created on your device using Argon2id, and they stay there. We don't sync or store them, so we can't open your files. It also means we can't recover a lost key for you. Also worth knowing Erasure follows the NIST SP 800-88 guidelines. The app contains no ad trackers. One account works across Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Please back up anything you want to keep before using Zero, because erased data can't be brought back. Zero also can't reach copies stored in the cloud or with other services, so you'll need to remove those separately.
