LimnoLog is a water quality field log for researchers, students and small teams. Record readings with their sampling sites, dates and field documentation, then return to the same series after fieldwork. Before fieldwork, prepare the project and sampling stations online and download the project to your device. Record sessions and measurements offline in the field; they sync when the connection returns. RECORD WITH CONTEXT Organise sampling sessions with stations, dates and indicators. Document fieldwork with photos; GPS, QR scanning and printing depend on your device and permissions. Water quality monitoring starts with structured records. COMPARE SERIES Explore temperature and oxygen over time, depth profiles and correlations. Compare measurement methods and review quality flags. Scientific interpretation remains with the researcher. REPORT AND EXPORT Prepare a PDF report for a selected data range. Import results from XLSX, XLS, ODS or CSV and export for further work in Excel, R or STATISTICA. Offline export includes data available on the device. You import saved cell results. Excel formulas do not transfer automatically. Define your calculated indicators in LimnoLog; they then compute consistently across the project, including offline. TEAMWORK AND EXTERNAL DATA Work in a shared project with roles and session approval. Combine manual measurements with connector readings. Share selected results through a public dashboard that needs no login. The activity log records who entered or edited a measurement and when; entries are retained for up to 24 months. Automatic connector readings are not logged individually. Sessions can be approved and locked; the measurement itself remains subject to the project retention policy. An account is required.
