Mes Recettes – Family Cookbook

Mes Recettes is the whole family's cookbook. The one where you write down grandma's pie, the curry you finally get right, the cake the kids keep asking for, and where everyone finds them on their own phone, iPhone or Android. Not a catalogue of strangers' recipes: yours. A COOKBOOK FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY You create your family, invite your people with a link or a QR code, and you share the same cookbook. Everyone sees the same recipes, anyone can add or complete one, and the photos come along. Whatever the phone: a recipe added on an iPhone shows up on the family's Android phones, and the other way round. When someone adds a recipe, the others know about it: “Nóri added Gulyás”. The family owner chooses who can edit and who can only read. SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE Your Google account is only used to recognise you. Sign in with the same account on a new phone and your cookbook and your family are there. The app has no separate cookbook: everything happens in the family cookbook. YOUR RECIPES, NOT THE INTERNET'S You write the name, the ingredients, the quantities. You add your photos, up to 12 per recipe: the ones of the dish you actually made. You keep the link to the original website, or a photo of the page in the book. Nothing forces you to fill in anything: a recipe can be just a name and a photo. QUANTITIES, IF YOU WANT THEM Each ingredient can carry its quantity, written the way you say it: “500 g”, “2 generous spoonfuls”, “a drizzle”. No fixed format, no mandatory unit. Recipes without quantities stay exactly as they were. REMEMBER WHAT YOU COOKED One button to say “I cooked it today”. The app keeps the history, and you see at a glance what you haven't made in a long time, or what comes back every month. FIND IT WITHOUT SEARCHING Search by name or by ingredient, whether it was written in French, English or Hungarian. Filter by category: main course, dessert, oven-baked, stew, Asian, winter… Sort by name or by date. And if the same recipe was written down twice, the app lets you know and offers to merge them without losing anything. A WORD UNDER EVERY RECIPE Comments are for the “a bit less salt next time” and the “the kids loved it”. The whole family reads them. YOUR DATA The family cookbook is stored on our server in Europe (Ireland), encrypted in transit and at rest. It is shared only with the members of your family. A HAND FROM AI, IF YOU WANT IT Take a photo of a dish or a cookbook page: AI suggests a title, the ingredients and the categories, which you review and edit as you like. Photos are only sent to OpenAI when you ask for it. TRULY OFFLINE The cookbook is also on your phone: you can open it, read a recipe or add one without a network. It goes out to the others as soon as the signal is back. The kitchen doesn't always have one. ACCESSIBLE Careful screen reader navigation: each recipe, each ingredient and its quantity is announced as a whole, not in disjointed fragments. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Available in English, French and Hungarian. The app follows your phone's language. On Android 13 and later, you can also set it per app, in your phone's settings. A Belgian app, with no ads and no advertising tracking.
