Derny connects to compatible Bluetooth treadmills and bike trainers for walking, running, and indoor cycling. Choose Endurance for a workout that responds to your heart rate. On a bike trainer, you can also build your own workouts or set the effort yourself. Train by heart rate Pair a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor and choose Endurance. On a treadmill, Derny adjusts speed; on a bike trainer, it adjusts target power. It responds as your heart rate changes. Build your own bike workouts Arrange sections with target power or resistance. Add adaptive rules that respond to your power, cadence, or heart rate, so the workout can ease off or increase the effort as you go. Watch your progress See live heart rate and workout time alongside your machine’s metrics, such as treadmill speed and incline or cycling power and cadence. Review saved activities and charts afterward. Connect your equipment Derny uses Bluetooth FTMS, the Fitness Machine Service, to communicate with compatible treadmills and bike trainers. Available controls and metrics depend on your machine. Heart-rate workouts also need a compatible heart-rate monitor. Start without an account Start a workout without creating an account. Sign in to access your workouts and activities across devices. Share your activities Write finished activities to Health Connect and share to Strava.
