Full description
Lensogram is a gallery for Android that copies your photos and videos into a private channel in your own Telegram account. The space is already yours. There is no separate storage subscription to buy, no account to create with us, and no server of ours anywhere in the path: the app talks to Telegram directly. SETUP: THREE THINGS, ONCE 1. Sign in to your own Telegram. Lensogram is a third-party Telegram client, so it uses the account you already have. There is no Lensogram account. 2. The app creates one private channel, Lensogram Storage, owned by your account. Joining it needs your approval. The app never creates an invite link, and nobody is invited. 3. You choose which albums are backed up, and that choice is respected whether automatic backup is on or off. Anything outside those albums goes up only when you tap to back it up. If you have ticked nothing at all, automatic backup covers the whole gallery rather than doing nothing. IN USE • It runs while you are elsewhere. Uploads carry on after you leave the app, with a notification you can pause or cancel from. A long first backup does not need watching. • Space back on the phone. Once a file is safely in the channel, delete the copy on the device. The item stays exactly where it was in the grid, and the thumbnail simply comes from the channel instead. • And back down again. Anything in the channel can be pulled back to the phone exactly as it was sent. A file you ask for comes down over whatever connection you have, rather than holding out for Wi-Fi. • Original, HD or compressed. Original is an exact copy with its metadata. HD re-encodes to 2560 px and shows previews inside Telegram. Compressed goes to 1280 px for the smallest files. It is a setting, not a one-way decision. • Wi-Fi and roaming aware. Backups wait for Wi-Fi and stay off while you are roaming, until you say otherwise. • New photos on their own. Switch on immediate backup and new photos and videos go up while the app is closed. • Look around first. The gallery, the folders and the settings all work without signing in. Only backing up needs an account. • English, Русский, Українська. PRIVACY The app has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking library, and it reads no advertising ID and no device ID. The only component that opens a connection at all is Telegram's own client library, and it talks to Telegram. The one thing that reaches us is what the free allowance and the paid plans need, and it comes through Telegram, to our bot: your Telegram account ID, when files were backed up, and purchases. Your files go to Telegram, and your phone number goes there once, to sign in, the same way it would in any Telegram app. Telegram is a separate company: what happens to your files after they arrive is governed by its privacy policy, not by ours. The channel belongs to your account. We are not in it, the app never makes an invite link, and there is no route by which we could get inside. Delete the channel and the backup is gone. The full policy covers every permission, every file the app writes, and how to remove all of it: https://lensogram.app/privacy/ LIMITS WORTH KNOWING These are Telegram uploads, so Telegram's limits apply. One file can be up to 2 GB, or 4 GB with Telegram Premium, and the app refuses anything larger. Telegram also paces long runs, so a first backup of a large library takes a while. How much you keep in the channel is not capped by the app. Lensogram is an unofficial, third-party Telegram client. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Telegram Messenger LLP. Telegram is a trademark of its owner.
