OhmPrep: Journeyman Exam Prep

The journeyman electrician exam is open book — and that's exactly the trap. Knowing the NEC exists is not the same as finding the right Article in 40 seconds under exam pressure. OhmPrep trains the two skills that actually pass exams: knowing the material, and knowing where it lives. WHAT YOU GET • Smart practice that adapts to you — every answer feeds a spaced-repetition scheduler, so questions you miss come back right before you'd forget them, and mastered ones stop wasting your time. • Timed mock exams built like the real thing — the Texas two-part format (85 questions, each part scored separately at 70%), a California full-length format (100 questions / 4.5 hours), and a core 25-question format. Flag questions, revisit, and get a per-topic breakdown of your results. • Codebook Race — a beat-the-clock game that drills fast NEC navigation: chapter → article → section, with a 30-second penalty for wrong picks. Five rounds, one clock. • 500+ questions across calculations, wiring and protection, equipment, wiring methods, special occupancies and general requirements — every one with a worked explanation and the exact NEC reference. • Diagram questions — motor nameplates, box fill, service calculations, OCPD selection, grounding tables, pool clearances and more. • Step-by-step solutions for the calculation questions — not just the answer, the arithmetic, shown line by line. • Readiness score, topic mastery bars, daily streaks and a goal that keeps you consistent until exam day. • Built on the 2023 NEC, with 2026 NEC update questions tagged separately for Texas candidates.
