OmDayal group of schools

A country’s future lies in its resources, the most valuable being its human resource. The school is where that resource is chiselled into a shape that is significant and beautiful. Our country is poised on the threshold of a new age filled with great hope, rapid changes, and numerous challenges. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India’s flagship programme for achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India which made free and compulsory education to children of 6-14 years age, a Fundamental Right. Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata has been a frontrunner in providing quality education to all in Kolkata for the past 13 years. With its excellent infrastructure and superior teaching techniques it has become a name to reckon with in the educational scene in this short period of time. In addition to routine curriculum, the students are motivated and supported to spread the light of knowledge and awareness through a robust and extensive social service programme. For the past many years senior students regularly visit Manovikas Kendra, a centre for special children, to help the students there. We also reach out to the underprivileged through our Rotary partners in the EACH ONE TEACH ONE programme. Inclusive classrooms are another way in which we support the SSA initiative. Our open classrooms are also some of the most digitally superior, not only in Kolkata but also in the entire country. The school is a co-educational platform where girls and boys are empowered by the same levels of knowledge and motivation so that they become effective decision makers of tomorrow. We intend to continue and expand the scope and implementation of all of the above in the years to come because an educated mind is the only mind that is free- free from prejudice, fear and exploitation. As we approach the 75th anniversary in 2022 of this glorious nation, Delhi Public School Ruby Park commits itself wholeheartedly in making the SARVA SHIKSHYA ABHIYAN a grand success.
