DESApp

DESApp (Digital Extension Support App) is the ultimate tool for cooperatives, agribusinesses, and farmer-based organizations to manage farmers, streamline operations, and unlock new opportunities. Built for Africa’s agriculture ecosystem, DESApp helps groups move away from paper records and into the digital future. Why DESApp? Across Africa, millions of smallholder farmers struggle to access finance, quality inputs, and reliable markets. Cooperatives and agribusinesses bridge this gap, but are often held back by poor data systems, manual records, and lack of transparency. DESApp was built to solve this. With DESApp, organizations can digitize farmer records, manage cooperative activities, and connect seamlessly with partners like input dealers, lenders, and buyers. It is user-friendly even in rural, low-connectivity areas, yet powerful enough for agribusinesses managing thousands of farmers. Key Features Farmer Registration: Digital profiles with farmer details, farm type, and production data. Cooperative Management: Track memberships, group structures, and participation. Data flows seamlessly, enabling evidence-based decisions. Why It Matters Agriculture is Africa’s backbone, yet smallholders remain excluded from finance.
