Full description
Most gym apps are built for people who enjoy the admin: building routines, ticking off supersets, defending a streak. Lazy Gym Tracker is built for the rest of us. It is a workout log and body weight tracker with one design goal: logging a set should cost one or two taps. Tap the exercise, type the weight, type the reps, done. Doing straight sets? Hit “Log again” and it repeats your last set. If typing is too much effort, say “bench 80 kilos 8 reps” out loud and it logs that instead, offline, on the device. BODY WEIGHT WITHOUT THE CEREMONY Tap “Same as yesterday” and you are finished. Nudge it with the ±0.2 chips, or use the big keypad to type a number. Tell the app whether you are losing or gaining weight and it colours your progress to match, so down is good or up is good depending on what you are actually doing. No calorie counting. No macros. No food diary. DOTS, NOT STREAKS Set a weekly gym target, 3 days or 4 days or whatever is realistic, and fill in the dots as you go. Miss a Tuesday and nothing breaks, nothing resets and nothing guilt-trips you. Streaks punish real life. Dots do not. 🟢 WHAT YOU GET • Quick-log sheet: pick exercise, type weight, type reps, plus “Log again” for straight sets • “Training today” chips for chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms, core and cardio, which filter the exercise list down to what you are actually training • Automatic session tracking with a live workout timer, so a gym visit is recorded the moment you log a set • A rest timer that notifies you with the screen off and the phone in your pocket • History: body weight chart, gym-day calendar, past sessions with durations, and a muscle group breakdown • 33 built-in exercises, your own custom exercises, and routines • Offline voice logging using on-device speech recognition and pattern matching • kg or lb, and a dark interface throughout • CSV export of everything LOCAL FIRST, GENUINELY No account. No sign-up. No cloud sync. Your strength training history sits on your phone, and you can export it to CSV whenever you like. There are no ads and there is nothing to subscribe to. OPTIONAL: BRING YOUR OWN API KEY If your phrasing is messier than the offline parser can handle, you can paste your own OpenAI API key into Settings and have it parse your voice input instead. It is off by default, you supply and pay for the key, and while it is on the voice transcript is sent to OpenAI. Leave it off and nothing leaves the device. WHAT THIS APP IS NOT It is not a calorie counter or a nutrition tracker. There is no social feed, no friends list and no leaderboard. There are no coaching plans and nothing that generates a programme and tells you what to lift. There is no subscription, no premium tier and no ads. If you want a training partner that nags you, this is the wrong app. If you want the lightest possible record of what you lifted and what you weighed, it is the right one. Free. Offline. Yours.
