This app turns the infrared blaster built into your phone into a full BenQ projector remote — the same IR codes the original handset sends, captured button by button from real remotes. Your phone needs a built-in IR blaster (common on many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Realme, Honor, Vivo and TCL handsets). The app tells you on the first screen whether your device has one. It does NOT work over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the internet, and it cannot control a projector without IR hardware. HOW TO USE IT 1. Open the app and pick a remote layout from the list. 2. Point the top edge of your phone at the projector. 3. Press a key. If nothing happens, go back and try the next layout — BenQ shipped several different IR remotes over the years, and one of them will match.
