PubReader: PDF & EPUB

PubReader is an offline-first reader for PDF and EPUB documents on Android. READ OFFLINE • Import a PDF or EPUB with the system document picker, Share menu, or Open with PubReader. • Keep each imported file in app-private storage without broad file permissions. • Read original PDF pages or contained offline EPUB/article content and return to where you stopped. • See progress for every document in your local library. READ TOGETHER Account features are optional. When you sign in, you can: • Mirror personal PDFs, imported EPUBs, extracted web articles, and reading progress automatically between your Android and iPhone libraries. • Create a private reading group or join one with a one-time invitation. • Choose a group, review what will be shared, and confirm the initial PDF upload yourself. • Download validated group PDFs and keep linked reading progress synchronized. • Follow each member's reading status and progress for documents in the group. • Receive new-media alerts and optionally receive an alert when another member finishes a group document. • Report inappropriate content, block another member, or request account deletion in the app. SYNC BEHAVIOR When account sync is enabled, PubReader automatically uploads personal PDFs and imported EPUBs to private account storage, receives saved article packages created on Apple devices, and mirrors documents, deletions, and reading progress across your signed-in devices. Sharing with a group remains a separate confirmation: a private personal item is not exposed to group members merely because it was mirrored. Android durably retries work when network and device-storage conditions allow, and a push alert can prompt a refresh when new media is ready. PRIVACY BY DESIGN PubReader does not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites. The local PDF/EPUB reader works without an account. Personal mirroring starts only after you choose account sync, notification categories can be disabled, and group files are disclosed only when you explicitly share them. Android supports PDF and EPUB files up to 200 MB compressed and can open mirrored saved-article packages. PDF text reflow, Android web capture, reader themes, folders, and EPUB export are not part of this Android release. Only import or share documents you have the right to use.
