Full description
OSNote is a screen pen app for writing, drawing and highlighting over other apps, and it is also a handwriting notebook for your pen notes. Mark up a video lesson, a PDF or a slide right where it is, then keep your ideas on pages that feel like paper. Write and draw over other apps Open the floating pen over whatever you are using: videos, PDFs in your reader, slides, websites, games or chats. Pause a video lesson and write on screen to work out the problem. Highlight the part of a chart you want to remember, or underline a key sentence. Teachers can annotate a worksheet during an online class, and presenters can draw on screen while they talk through a slide. On some phones the ink may not show when you share your screen, so test it before a call. OSNote works as an overlay on almost any app, so you can draw anywhere on screen, with your finger or a pen, without switching apps. The Pen tray Your screen annotation tools sit in the Pen tray, a floating toolbar that docks to any edge and folds away when you need the space. Inside you get a pen, a highlighter that works like a screen marker, and an eraser that removes part of a line or the whole stroke. You also get undo and redo, 8 colors, a thickness slider and up to 6 saved pens, so your favorite marker pen is one tap away. Hide your drawings or clear them all. Touch mode keeps the pen on screen while you scroll and tap the app underneath. Tap a pen and you are back in Draw. More on the Advanced bar The Advanced bar adds Shapes: lines, arrows, rectangles, ovals, triangles and stars that you can adjust with handles right after drawing. It can also lay a blank, lined, grid or dotted page over the app below at the opacity you choose, so your phone or tablet works like a digital whiteboard while you teach. To keep your marks, capture a screenshot of your writing alone or with the background. It lands in your Library, where you can keep annotating it and export it later. Quick Notes: notebooks for handwritten notes Quick Notes is a digital notebook for note taking by hand. Pick a cover, then blank, lined, grid or dotted paper in the color you like, A4 or screen size, portrait or landscape. Take lecture notes on lined paper or work through math on grid paper. Each notebook holds up to 50 pages, and every page can have its own paper. Add photos and write on them, move or resize your writing with the lasso, and draw neat shapes with the shape stencil. Pinch to zoom and your ink stays sharp. Export a whole notebook as a PDF or a single page as an image, then share it or keep it in a folder you pick. Made for a stylus, fine with a finger Palm rejection works in notebooks and over other apps: once OSNote detects your stylus, you can rest your hand as you write. Low latency ink keeps the line close to your pen tip, and Hold to straighten turns a shaky line into a straight one when you pause at its end. No stylus? Your finger can write on screen too, and so can a basic stylus that the display treats as a finger. OSNote has layouts for phones and tablets, and on a tablet it makes a handy stylus notes app. One Library Notebooks and screenshots sit together in the Library, so your screen notes are easy to find again. Mark your favorites, and drag one notebook onto another to make a folder. Offline and on your device The screen pen and your notebooks work offline, with no account needed. Your notes are stored on your device, and OSNote never uploads them. Who uses OSNote Students annotate video lessons and keep study notes to review before exams. Teachers draw on screen to walk a class through a problem or explain it on a whiteboard page. If you want a screen drawing tool plus a real place for handwritten notes, OSNote covers both. OSNote is supported by ads. PRO removes the ads and the notebook limit. OSNote's interface is available in English and 16 more languages.
