Pledge Point Credit is a Ghana-based collateral-backed credit app that helps eligible users apply for and manage secured loans using approved physical items as collateral. Users can view their loan details, repayment schedule, payment status, collateral conditions, and account activity through one secure mobile platform. Loan Terms and Disclosure Pledge Point Credit provides secured personal loans subject to eligibility, collateral assessment, approval, and applicable Ghanaian laws. Minimum repayment period: 61 days. Maximum repayment period: 90 days. Maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 36%. APR typically ranges from 15% to 36% per year, depending on loan amount, term, collateral verification, and risk assessment. We do not offer loans with an APR above 36%. Your exact APR, interest amount, total repayment amount, payment schedule, and due date are shown in your loan offer before you accept. Representative loan example: For a loan principal of GHS 1,000 over 90 days at an 8.5% simple interest rate over the term (APR approximately 34.5%), the borrower would pay principal of GHS 1,000.00, interest of GHS 85.00, processing or administration fee of GHS 0.00, collateral handling or storage fee of GHS 0.00, and a total repayment amount of GHS 1,085.00. Interest is calculated as a simple percentage of the approved principal for the agreed term. APR is annualised as (interest rate divided by term in days) multiplied by 365. Repayment may be structured as a single lump-sum payment at maturity or an installment plan over 30 to 90 days, as set out in your approved loan offer. All loan terms, repayment dates, fees, collateral conditions, and total repayment amounts are shown to the user before the user accepts a loan. Loan amounts are offered at up to 60% of the assessed collateral value after inspection. Collateral is inspected and approved before loan disbursement. Collateral is returned after the loan is fully repaid according to the agreed loan terms. If repayment is not made by the due date, borrowers may optionally request a one-time extension from 5 days before the due date through the due date, for up to 30 extra days, subject to a one-time extension fee of 10% of the outstanding balance paid separately via mobile money. We do not charge automatic daily penalty fees on overdue balances. Late payment terms, collateral recovery conditions, extension charges, and applicable consequences are disclosed before loan acceptance. If the borrower does not repay or extend as agreed, pledged collateral may be retained, sold, or disposed of to recover the outstanding balance, as permitted by the loan agreement and applicable law.
