Energy Cycle App covers four major energy conversion cycles to facilitate as a tool for performing energy efficiency studies. This also can be very helpful to energy engineers and auditors in assessing the cycle performances with respect to sizing and conversion efficiencies. App generates following generic models two under utility power generation category and two under HVAC category as shown in the screen shots. Each can be tailored to suits individual application and can be saved in a file for continuous reference and to monitor the change and improvement. Energy Cycles: 1. Rankine Cycle a. Boiler b. Return and Exhaust air flows Cycle efficiency and total cycle heat is displayed in the home screen along with state properties. For HVAC, a separate section is added as a part of conditioned space for editing cooling and heating load under 10 major categories as shown in the screen shot. A separate edit section is provided for the users to select and compute load under each category using recommended parameters. Each user specific cycles can be saved for future review and analysis.
