InAwake: Keep Screen On

Don't want your screen to turn off while using a specific app? InAwake lets you choose the apps you need and automatically keeps the screen on only while one of them is active. Select Instagram, Spotify, Chrome, Kindle, or any other installed app. While a selected app is active, InAwake prevents the screen from turning off due to the system screen timeout. As soon as you switch to an unselected app or return to the Home screen, your phone goes back to its normal screen timeout behavior. Keep your screen on only where you need it. Open InAwake. 2. Turn on the switch next to the apps you want. 3. Enable Accessibility Service access so InAwake can detect the active app. 4. Open one of your selected apps. 5. The screen stays on while you use it. 6. Switch to an unselected app or return to Home, and the normal screen timeout works again. When Is It Useful? InAwake is useful when you want to keep the screen on while: • reading articles, books, or documents; • browsing in Chrome or other browsers; • using Instagram or other social apps; • using Spotify or other media apps; • navigating with maps; • following recipes, notes, instructions, or reference information; • using any other app where automatic screen timeout gets in the way. Only Selected Apps InAwake does not enable an "always-on screen" mode for your entire phone. You decide exactly which apps should keep the screen awake. In all other apps, the normal Android screen timeout continues to work as usual. This means you do not need to constantly change the screen timeout setting for your entire device. Works Automatically After setup, you do not need to open InAwake every time. Open a selected app - the screen stays awake. Leave it - the normal screen timeout works again. Privacy InAwake uses Accessibility Service only to determine which app is currently active. This is necessary so the Keep Screen On feature works only for the apps you select. InAwake does not read text or content from other apps, does not record your screen, and does not collect your app usage history. Processing is performed locally on your device.
