Kraken's Crew

The ship is full of treasure – and one of you is the Kraken. Kraken's Crew is a free party game of hidden roles for 5 to 10 friends around one table. Most of you are loyal Sailors. A few are Mutineers, steering the ship onto the reefs. And one is the Kraken in disguise. Nobody knows who to trust – and the Captain's voice leads you through it all. HOW A ROUND GOES • The Captain proposes a Navigator. Everyone votes: thumbs up or thumbs down. • The Captain secretly takes three cards and passes two to the Navigator. The Navigator plays one: Treasure or Reef. • Then the arguing starts. Was it bad luck with the cards – or is someone lying? The Sailors win with five Treasures, or by sending the Kraken overboard. The Mutineers win with six Reefs, or by getting the Kraken elected Navigator once three Reefs are on the board. CAPTAIN'S POWERS Reefs unlock the Captain's powers: the Parrot whispers which side a pirate is on, the Spyglass shows the next cards, the Captain's Hat picks the next Captain, and the Plank sends one pirate overboard. ONE PHONE OR EVERYONE'S OWN • One phone: put it in the middle of the table and pass it around for the secret parts. Works without internet. • Everyone on their own phone: one player creates a table, the others join with a QR code or a short code. Roles, cards and votes stay private on each phone. EASY TO LEARN • A practice voyage with a guide teaches the game while you play. • The Captain's voice narrates the game, so nobody has to read the rules to the table. • Ask the Captain: tap a question about the rules and hear the answer – even in the middle of a game.
