Koro also uses accessibility services (USSD) to simplify the app use for people with disabilities. Accessibility Service is used to access bank statements and transaction data via the USSD channel and evaluate your creditworthiness based on your transaction history. Data is accessed with explicit permission of the user, if no permission given, the application cannot request the statement. Data we Collect and Process: name, middle name, and surname, phone number, your transaction data for the last 12 months. To confirm the bank statement request, the application uses your M-PESA PIN temporarily during the process.
