KoalaCad is a real CAD app for Android — not a mesh-based toy. Most "CAD" apps on mobile fake it with polygon meshes or basic CSG. KoalaCad is built on OCCT, the same open-source B-rep geometry kernel behind desktop tools like FreeCAD — so your models are precise, editable solids with true curved surfaces, not triangle soup. Tap a face. Type the feature. The whole workflow is built for touch: tap a face or edge on your model, then type in the exact dimension you want. No tiny toolbars, no mouse-era menus ported badly to a phone screen. What you can model: Base shapes: boxes, cylinders, spheres, polygons, ellipses, rings, custom sketched profiles, and involute spur gears Features: extrude/boss, pocket/cut, fillet, chamfer, shell/hollow, sweep, loft, revolve, circular pattern, and construction planes for off-axis work Sketch mode: draw directly on a picked face Emboss or engrave text onto any face A full Measure tool — distance, angle, and dynamic face/edge inspection Undo/redo and a real feature-tree history, so every model stays editable Import & export: Import STEP files from Fusion, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, or anywhere else. Export to STEP, STL, or OBJ to send your design to a slicer or another CAD tool.
