Knack Kids: Young Achievers

About Young Achievers (by Knack Kids) Young Achievers is a talent-discovery and achievement platform for children aged 5 to 18, created by Knack Kids. It helps parents discover, nurture, track and verify everything their child is good at — beyond academic marks — and keep it all in one trusted, lasting record called the Talent Passport. WHAT THE APP DOES Discover talents. A guided, age-aware setup builds each child's Talent Profile. Parents choose from 90+ skills across 12 areas — Visual Arts, Dance, Music, Drama & Theatre, Sports, Language & Words, Maths & Logic, Science, Tech & Coding, Craft, Nature and Ideas & GK — including Indian favourites such as Bharatanatyam, Carnatic and Hindustani vocals, tabla, abacus, Vedic maths, chess, elocution, spelling bee and olympiads. Only skills appropriate to the child's age are shown. Track and level up. Each skill can be set from Beginner to Expert, so families see real growth over time as a clear trajectory rather than a one-off snapshot. Where they exist, recognised grade frameworks anchor levels to real standards. Verify achievements. Young Achievers is built around trust. Instead of self-declared claims, achievements become verified credentials — confirmed by the child's school, coach or a competition organiser, earned by taking part in Young Achievers events, or validated automatically from recognised issuers such as exam boards, olympiad bodies and grade boards. A coach can confirm an achievement with a single tap, without creating an account. Celebrate and stay informed. A Stories feed brings inspiring journeys of young achievers, along with the latest news, competitions and opportunities for children across India. With explicit parental consent, a child's own milestones can be featured — always privacy-first, showing only a first name and city. Find events and opportunities. The app surfaces competitions, olympiads and events matched to a child's skills, age and city, with clear age eligibility (U10, U12 and so on). Fair leaderboards. Leaderboards are entirely optional and rank verified achievements only, within a fair cohort of children of similar age and city — recognising genuine progress without pressure. A child's private character strengths, such as curiosity, focus, kindness and perseverance, are never shown publicly. Contribute achievements. Parents can submit their child's wins and certificates. Each submission is added to the passport straight away and, if the parent chooses to publish it to Stories, is reviewed by an editorial team for accuracy and child-safety before it appears. Built for parents, and for privacy. The parent is the account holder and guardian. Consent is captured before any child profile is created. Parents can manage multiple children, control what is shared or made public, and download or delete their data at any time. The app collects only what it needs, keeps personal details and character strengths private, and handles children's data with care. WHO IT'S FOR Young Achievers is made for Indian families who want to nurture their child's talents beyond exam marks — building a holistic, verified portfolio of achievements that can inspire the child, inform school and scholarship decisions, and celebrate every step of their growth. Young Achievers — every child has a spark. We help it shine, and get it seen.
