Kinsmen

# Kinsmen — Play Store Listing (copy-paste ready) ## App name (30 chars max) Kinsmen — Roots & Community *(or simply: `Kinsmen`)* ## Short description (80 chars max — this one is 76) When someone from your roots crosses your path nearby, you'll both know. 🌾 ## Full description (4000 chars max) **Kinsmen — where you always belong.** You moved to a new city for work or study. Somewhere in that same city walks someone from your village, your taluka, your district — someone who speaks your mother tongue, ate the same festival food, maybe even sat in the same classroom. You pass each other every day and never know. Kinsmen fixes that. **🌾 CROSSINGS** When someone who shares your roots comes within 500 metres of you, Kinsmen quietly notices — and tells you both. Same village. Neighboring villages. Same taluka, district, culture, or language. Moved abroad? Kinsmen widens the net and finds your people in your new country. **🤝 BOTH MUST SAY YES** A crossing shows only what you share — "same taluka", "speaks Malvani", "you both studied at Fergusson College." No names. No photos. No locations. Chat opens only when BOTH of you tap Connect. Skip someone, and they'll never know. **🔒 PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT** • Your exact location is never stored — it's converted to coarse zones on your own phone and deleted within the hour • Your photo stays hidden until you choose to show it • Your phone number is invisible until you tap "Share my number" — and every share is logged in your private Connections Record • Caste is optional, encrypted, never shown on any profile, and used only if both people opt in • Block anyone, anytime — silently **✅ REAL PEOPLE ONLY** Every Kinsman passes a live selfie check before entering — blink detection stops fake photos, and one face means one account, so banned users can't sneak back. Verify further with your government ID for a trust badge. **📰 HOMETOWN PULSE** Daily news from your home district — in your mother tongue first. Monsoon alerts, festival dates, road closures, mango season. Stay connected to home while you build a life away from it. **🚪 OPEN DOORS** Want to meet people beyond your own community? A Marathi wanting Malayali friends, a Kannadiga who misses Bengali adda — open those doors and Kinsmen will introduce you when you cross paths. **🎓 ALUMNI SERENDIPITY** "You both studied at the same college." "They went to a school 6 km from yours." Your education becomes a bridge to the people around you. Whether you moved from Anjarle to Bengaluru or from Kochi to Dubai — your roots travel with you. Kinsmen makes sure they find each other. Download Kinsmen. You always belong somewhere — now you'll know when it walks past you. --- Kinsmen never sells your data or shows ads targeted on your community. 18+ only. ## Category Social ## Tags / keywords community, roots, hometown, desi, village, district, mother tongue, migrants, alumni, regional, marathi, malayali, kannadiga, tamil, connections Run the app on your phone (Expo Go or your installed build) and screenshot: 1.
