Ketoda

Ketoda is the social media blocker that makes you move before you scroll. Most screen-time apps are easy to beat — snooze the timer, type an override code, tap "ignore." Ketoda raises the cost of bypassing distraction from one tap to one real workout, tracked live by your phone's camera. HOW IT WORKS Pick the apps you want to gate — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or any app on your phone Try to open one, and Ketoda steps in before it launches Complete a quick set of squats, pushups, or jumping jacks — counted automatically using your camera, no wearables needed Once you hit your rep target, your apps unlock for a set scroll window When the timer runs out, everything locks again — move to unlock more time HOW WE DETECT APP LAUNCHES Ketoda uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect the moment you open a gated app, so it can step in before that app fully launches. This is what makes the block instant instead of a pop-up you can swipe away. Ketoda does not use this service to read, log, or transmit your screen content, keystrokes, or personal data — it's used only to detect app-open events so the workout gate can trigger. WHY IT WORKS Pose detection only counts reps when it sees a real person actually exercising, so propping up your phone and walking away won't unlock anything. Blocking happens before you reach your apps, not after, so there's no easy skip button standing between you and your old habits. BUILT FOR REAL PHONES Ketoda is built and tested on real-world Android hardware, including budget devices that often get overlooked by apps designed only for flagship phones. A built-in watchdog keeps blocking active even on phones with aggressive battery-saving settings. MORE THAN A BLOCKER See your workout history and unlock sessions on a simple dashboard Track an estimated calorie ring for the movement you've put in Add a home screen widget to check your progress at a glance Use Sleep Mode to pause blocking overnight without uninstalling anything Stop relying on willpower. Let your body do the locking and unlocking — every scroll session becomes something you actually have to earn.
