Kepla-Chem

Kepla Chem is the mobile companion to your organization's Kepla Chem chemical inventory and compliance system. It's built for the work that happens at the shelf: finding a bottle, putting away a delivery, moving stock between rooms, and counting what's actually there. SCAN ANYTHING • Scan Kepla container labels, location labels or the manufacturer's own barcode with your phone's camera. • A beep and a vibration confirm every scan. Use the torch for dark cabinets, or type the code in if a label is damaged. • If one manufacturer barcode matches several lots, the app asks which bottle you're holding. WORK FAST WITH MULTI-SCAN • Put away: scan a shelf, then scan container after container to store them there. • Move: move many containers in one pass. • Count: go through a room and scan what's there. The app shows what's missing and what's in the wrong place. • Undo your last few scans if you make a mistake. EVERY CONTAINER AT HAND • Check in new deliveries and see where each one belongs. • Dispense, move, mark empty, dispose of or report a container lost. • Take photos of labels and damage. • Open the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in a couple of taps, with the chemical's GHS hazard pictograms. • See each container's location, quantity, owner, expiry date and full history. STORAGE SAFETY BUILT IN Your organization's storage compatibility rules are checked on every move. The app warns you before an acid goes into a flammables cabinet, and it stops a move your safety team has blocked. WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Stockrooms and basements rarely have good reception. Everything you do is saved on the phone and syncs automatically once you're back online, including counts. If someone else changed a container while you were offline, Sync status tells you what changed, who changed it and when. ALERTS See today's alerts: expired and expiring stock, peroxide-forming chemicals due for testing, and storage problems. BUILT FOR THE LAB • Large buttons you can use with gloves on. • Follows your phone's text size. • Full TalkBack support, with each scan result read aloud. • Side-by-side layouts on tablets. • Optional fingerprint or face unlock, and an automatic lock when the app has been idle. • Updates itself through Google Play. HOW IT WORKS Kepla Chem connects to your own organization's Kepla Chem system. It is not a public service. The first time you open the app, scan the QR code from your web app or enter your company name (for example "acme" if you sign in at acme.keplacloud.com). Then sign in with your usual username and password. Two-factor authentication is supported. Reports, Tier II, compliance settings and administration stay in the web app. The mobile app is for hands-on inventory work. This app requires an active Kepla Chem subscription with mobile access enabled by your administrator. It does not work on its own.
