(1) "કાયદા પોથી" એપ્લિકેશનનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય સામાન્ય નાગરિકને કાયદાઓ પર સંશોધન કરવા, શીખવા અને અભ્યાસ કરવાની સુવિધા આપવાનો છે. આ એપ્લિકેશનનો ધ્યેય રોજિંદા જીવનને અસર કરતી મૂળભૂત કાયદાકીય બાબતનોની સમજ વધારવાનો છે. તેમાં ઘણી બધી બેર એક્ટ્સ છે, જે કોઈપણ વિભાગમાં સરળતાથી નેવિગેટ કરવા માટે સરળ શોધ કાર્યક્ષમતા સાથે શ્રેણીબદ્ધ રીતે ગોઠવાયેલા હજારો વિભાગો ધરાવે છે. (2) "કાયદા પોથી" એપ્લીકેશન કોઈપણ સરકારી સંસ્થા સાથે જોડાયેલી નથી કે તેના પ્રતિનિધિ નથી. આ એપ્લીકેશન એક ખાનગી/બિનસત્તાવાર એપ્લિકેશન છે જેનો હેતુ કાયદાકીય અભ્યાસ અને સંશોધન માટે છે. આ એપ્લિકેશનમાં આપવામાં કોઈપણ માહિતી અથવા સેવાઓ કોઈપણ સરકારી સત્તા દ્વારા માન્ય કરવામાં આવેલ નથી કે મંજૂર કરવામાં આવેલ નથી.
