Kardlyz

Kardlyz is the gate app for events. Event managers see who is coming in and run the gate. Guards check passes by scanning the QR code, even when the venue has no signal. FOR GUARDS • Set up the phone once by scanning the enrolment QR code your event manager gives you. You do not need to create an account. • Scan a pass and get a clear answer: let in, or turned away and why. • Works offline. The list of people and pass numbers for your event is kept on the phone in an encrypted database, so scanning carries on when the network drops. Entries are saved on the phone and sent as soon as it is back online, and none are lost if the app is closed. • Spot the wrong person: if someone is holding another person's pass, record that with one tap. • Protect the phone with your own 6-digit PIN. • Get event notices from your team as notifications. FOR EVENT MANAGERS • Sign in with your Kardlyz account (email and password, or Google). • See your events, switch between them, and follow each one: its status, its nights and its team. • Search passes and players, and see each pass's status. • Watch entries as they happen: how many have been let in, which gate, and which phone recorded each one. • Manage guards and phones: create guards, give each an enrolment code, revoke a lost phone or reset one. • Message your event team and read their notifications. • Lock the app with a PIN. Ten wrong PINs sign you out. Setting up an event (importing the player list, printing passes and cards, the team and the nights) stays on the Kardlyz website. The app is for running the gate. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • The camera is only used to read QR codes. Pictures are not saved or sent anywhere. • The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos or microphone, and it has no ads. • Everything the app sends goes over an encrypted connection. Sign-in details, device keys and the event list are kept in secure storage on the phone, and removed when you uninstall the app. • You can delete your account from the app (Event tab), or at kardlyz.com/delete-account.
