What You Can Do on Karatly Buy Digital Gold and Silver Buy 24K digital gold and 999 purity digital silver at live rates sourced directly from Augmont, by amount (Rs.) or by weight (grams), starting from Rs.100. Once Sale Confirmation is issued by Augmont, title and ownership passes directly from Augmont to you — Karatly never holds title to your gold or silver. Purchase Charges The government charges 3% GST on every gold and silver purchase. A buy-sell spread applies between the live buy and sell rates. Sell Back Gold and silver purchases are final, binding and irrevocable once Sale Confirmation is issued. The only exit from a confirmed position is Sell-Back, available after a mandatory 48-hour holding period from purchase. Once eligible, sell at the live sell rate, with proceeds credited to your linked bank account. Redeem Physical Coins Convert accumulated gold or silver into physical coins fulfilled through Augmont — gold coins in denominations including 1g and 5g (999 purity), silver coins in denominations including 10g and 100g (999 purity). Redemption is subject to making charges, delivery charges and applicable taxes. KYC and Security Mandatory Two-Factor KYC Before any transaction: government-issued Proof of Identity, Proof of Address, PAN, an active Indian bank account, and a registered mobile number. PAN is mandatory for cumulative purchases of Rs.1,000 or more in a financial year (RBI KYC Master Direction, PMLA 2002). Data Security AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit. Two-factor authentication is mandatory on every account. Under DPDPA 2023, you can access, correct, erase or nominate a person for your data, and withdraw consent anytime.
