Margo is a local-first workspace for working beside your materials. Start from a blank page, add PDFs, images, webpages, or books, write directly on top, save useful regions as Clips, and keep Recordings next to the context that created them. Use Margo for research, reading, planning, meetings, coursework, collecting references, or any workflow where materials and handwriting belong together. Your Workspace is designed around local device storage first; exporting or sharing is an explicit user action. - Start a blank Workspace or add Materials such as PDFs, images, webpages, books, and text files. - Write and annotate directly beside your Materials with the same ink surface used for blank notes. - Save selections as Clips so important excerpts and regions stay connected to their original context. - Add Recordings to keep voice notes beside the Workspace that produced them. - Export/share your Workspace when you choose; the core product is local-first by default.
