Kanine

Kanine is made by Kanine Software LLC, a private company. Kanine is not a government app and does not represent any government agency. Agencies use Kanine to keep their own K9 unit records. Kanine is the record system for law enforcement K9 units. Handlers log training and deployments in the field, supervisors review and sign, and the agency keeps a defensible record of every dog, every hour, and every find. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Works offline. Record a training day, a deployment, or a daily log with no signal, and it syncs when you are back in coverage. • Record a GPS track while you work, with the screen locked, and attach it to the activity. • Capture photos and files as evidence, straight from the phone. THE RECORD THAT HOLDS UP • Every record carries who entered it, who signed it, and when. • Signatures seal the record, and a reopen is explicit and audited. • Certifications and expiry dates are tracked, so nobody is working past a lapsed cert. THE WHOLE UNIT IN ONE PLACE • Dogs: assignments, medical history, training aids, and costs. • Activities: training, deployments, finds, use of force, and traffic stops. • People: handlers, supervisors, and administrators, with roles that decide who can sign. • Reports: the numbers a supervisor or an attorney asks for, without a spreadsheet. FOR THE AGENCY • Your agency's data belongs to your agency. Export it whenever you want, in full. • Roles and permissions match how a unit actually works. • Scheduling, reminders, and notifications keep certifications and training days from slipping. Kanine requires an agency account. Visit us at kaninesoftware.com to set up your unit. OFFICIAL SOURCES Kanine shows only the records that your own agency enters.
