Kilat: Capture Your Thoughts Live

Ideas don't wait. Kilat — Malay for "lightning" — gets you from a thought in your head to words on your phone in about half a second. ONE TAP FROM YOUR HOME SCREEN Put the Kilat widget on your home screen. Tap it and a writing sheet slides up with the keyboard already open. Type, hit Save, and you're back where you were. No app to open, no menus, no loading screen. ADD A PHOTO WHEN WORDS AREN'T ENOUGH Snap a photo with your camera or pick one from your gallery, right from the writing sheet. Kilat keeps a smaller copy so your storage doesn't fill up. REMEMBER WHERE AND WHEN Every thought is saved with the time. Allow location and Kilat also notes the neighbourhood you were in and the weather at the moment the idea landed. Offline, no GPS, or said no to location? The thought still saves instantly, and the details fill in later if they can. TAG YOUR MOOD Mark how you felt: happy, grateful, calm, excited, tired, anxious or sad. FIND IT AGAIN Scroll back through your timeline, or search every thought you've ever saved. Open one to see its photo, place and weather, or share it to your journal, notes or chat app. BACKUPS YOU CONTROL Export everything, photos included, to a single file saved wherever you choose: your phone, a memory card or Google Drive. Import it on a new phone to pick up where you left off. Importing the same backup twice never creates duplicates. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up • Your thoughts and photos stay on your phone • No ads, no tracking, no analytics • Location is optional and only used while you're saving a thought • Completely free Catch the lightning.
