Full description
You've tried other blockers. They catch the big Western sites, then the Japanese content slips right through. The coded titles. The performer names. The mirror links. And the streak you were proud of is gone again. Mamori is built for exactly that gap. A full adult-content blocker that goes further on the Japanese content most filters ignore. WHAT OTHER FILTERS MISS - 2.5 million+ blocked domains, including the Japanese and hentai sites other blockers miss - Thousands of Japanese performer names, in romaji and Japanese - Coded Japanese titles recognized and blocked - Catches adult searches typed inside apps NO LOOPHOLES - Blocks across your whole device, not just one browser - Stops other browsers being used to get around it - Forces SafeSearch on Google, Bing, YouTube and more - Uninstall protection makes it hard to remove on impulse - Blocks the settings that switch protection off - Re-arms automatically after a restart SEAL IT SHUT, ON YOUR TERMS - Lock changes behind a cooldown timer, PIN or passphrase - Hand your PIN to someone you trust - An optional emergency unlock Mamori isn't about shame. It's about giving the part of you that wants to stop the upper hand over the part that doesn't. Monthly, annual and one-time lifetime options. Subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE Mamori uses the Android AccessibilityService API. Here is exactly what it does. Why Mamori needs it Mamori reads on-screen text in a fixed, limited list of apps, being your browser and a small number of social and video apps, so it can recognise an adult search term as you type it and show a block screen instead of the results. Android offers no narrower API that can see a search term typed inside another app. Mamori also offers an optional setting guard. When you switch it on, Mamori recognises the Android settings screens used to disable or uninstall Mamori and shows its block screen there instead. It is off when you install Mamori, only you can turn it on, and it applies only while your own protection is running. What is read On-screen text and search field contents, in the listed apps only. Password fields are never read. Where it goes Nowhere. Every check happens on your device. Mamori never stores, logs, uploads or shares any text it reads. No screen content leaves your phone. Is it optional Yes. Mamori's website blocking works without it. In-app blocking is the only feature that needs it. How to turn it off Open Android Settings, then Accessibility, then Mamori, and switch it off. You can also manage it inside Mamori under Protection. If you enabled the setting guard with a lock, turn protection off first by completing your lock. Mamori is not an accessibility tool and is not designed to support users with disabilities. It does not declare the isAccessibilityTool flag. VPN SERVICE DISCLOSURE Mamori uses the Android VpnService API to block adult websites. Why it is needed Mamori filters DNS, the lookup every app makes to turn a domain name into an address. VpnService is the only API Android gives an ordinary app to filter DNS device-wide, so blocking works in every browser and app, not just inside Mamori. It is not a conventional VPN There is no remote VPN server. Mamori does not proxy, tunnel, encrypt, redirect or anonymise your traffic, and nothing is routed to Mamori or to any third party. Only DNS queries enter it. All other traffic, meaning web pages, video, messages and every other app, bypasses it entirely, and Mamori never sees its contents. What happens to a query The domain is checked against a blocklist stored on your device. Blocked domains are answered locally as not found. Others are forwarded unchanged to a public DNS resolver. Mamori does not store, log, upload or share the domains you look up. How to turn it off Switch protection off in Mamori, which stops the VPN. If you set a lock, complete it first. You can also revoke it in Android Settings under VPN.

What's new

An app can no longer be blocked and allowed at the same time. Allowing an app used to quietly cancel your block on it, so the app list could say it was blocked when it was not. Blocking an app now removes its exemption, and the counts show what is really blocked.
